kjetil_f I e-mailed them asking what's up with Jazz and Epic Pinball and this is what they replied: "There have been no announcements from Epic Games regarding Jazz Jackrabbit or Epic Pinball. If there are any future projects, information would be announced on the Epic Games Blog."

I don't think there ever was, though. Holiday Hare 95 always was a separate release AFAIK.

I don't want to pirate these games, I wanna buy em because you deserve money for making a really good PC platformer and this is from a guy who isn't into PC platformers with Jazz and 2D Duke Nukem being the only ones I like.
Zuntak I play it using DosBox emulator, but I would love to be able to purchase it and have it on GOG :)
Love & Thunder @CelticMinstrel -- Epic Classics was the father of someone at Epic(I think he was Tim Sweeney's dad, but I'm not sure) who took mail orders to sell off remaining old stock of the games they used to sell in the '90s. He did it in his free time. I remember there being a news story of the last copy of ZZT being sold by Epic Classics, so I think what happened to the site was that there's no old stock left to sell anymore. Either that, or the guy running it became too busy to continue doing it.

CelticMinstrel @DaemonlordX - I'm not sure, but there may actually be licensing issues with all those older Epic games (which includes JJ but not JJ2). I originally bought JJ from "Epic Classics", which as I understand was a separate company with a license to sell Epic's older games. Last I heard its website was no longer up, so depending on the exact details of their license, it's possible that Epic isn't actually allowed to release those games. I don't know if "Epic Classics" still exists in any form.

DaemonlordX Would like this and all of Epic Mega Games catalogue released (All games prior to the 1998 release of Unreal). I only know of two games: One Must Fall 2097 and Traffic Department 2192 which have been declared FREEWARE in the early 2000s.
Even more so that their rival Apogee/3D Realms never stopped selling games, made several of them free (Bio menace is on GOG! for free), sold some of them on GOG and released the entire catalogue for Steam and DRM Free from their own site.
What's the deal Epic? Only care about Selling the Unreal Engine and Gears of War?

Andy3012 Currently there is no legal way of getting hold of Jazz Jackrabbit 1 without finding the original disks - which never appear on eBay and not even Epic themselves sell it. I'd so love to legitimately own this game - even if it is just digitally.
eightmegapower Yeah, there should be something like Duke Nukem Megaton edition, with enhanced graphics (optional of course) and both of the holiday hare games included.
