www.mobygames.com/game/hockey-league-simulator-iiThis game was one of early Bethesda's great games. Combined with Wayne Gretzky Hockey 3, these two formed one of the best ice hockey games ever created. It is a manager type of game were you manage a team in NHL and it could be run alongside with Wayne Gretzky Hockey 3, another forgotten classic game of Bethesda.

WIsh these two games, HLS2 and WGH3, could work without this import/export stats and stuff. What I mean is something like EA's NHLers, that management and playing fused into one game! :) anyhoooo... two thumbs up on this one!!

Agreed excellent game especially paired with W G H 3. My second choice would be EA's NHL2001.

Don't like how a team is playing in your simulated league? Fire its head coach, and take control. The game is similar to its predecessor, Hockey League Simulator, except that there is more of everything -- and this time it was designed to be integrated with Wayne Gretzky Hockey 3. Similar to HLS, HLS2 boasts an extremely wide range of options that are remarkable for its time: you can coach any one particular team, or manage the entire league. Match results can be saved or printed, and the number of statistics and players you have at your disposal is staggering. Once integrated with Wayne Gretzsky Hockey 3, you will have one of the best hockey action / managerial experience this side of the real rink. Highly recommended!
