BurningSheep I have to agree with Hidden_Gems. I just started playing the retail copy that I bought some years ago. I had some problems with the visuals back when I tried the demo, but the full version ran like a charm. Just don't use the "High Resolution" option. I'm also using the 1.11 patch.
It's not a very complex ARPG and some mechanical details are a bit confusing, but the visuals are decent and there is a surprising amount of varied ambient tracks to support the atmosphere.
The german translation has occasional issues, but it's true that the characters actually have interesting things to say. The writers had some trust that the audience isn't just a bunch of half-wits. The story and world-building are decent as well.
Hidden_Gems An unique hidden gem, particularly because of the atmosphere and immersion (beautiful hand-drawn graphics and amazing music). The story is really good: a planet-sized spaceship with endless dark corridors and halls full of secrets and strange creatures - and some great NPCs and dialogue.

UltanDragon It maybe not best of it's kind but kinda good and have fond memories with it, definetly worth a small cut from past .
OldScaly I played it on XP, and apparently it hasn't worked on Windows since Vista. I wonder if there is a community patch that it could be bundled with.

gog2002x I'll add my vote to it too. It's a simple but, fun diablo-like space action game. Sometimes it's the simple games that are often the best and there were no major bugs that I'm aware of either.
pikatsou27 I own the original, but I hate the fact that I can't play it any longer, unless I use a virtual machine with WinXP... it does have bugs (especially Culibine), but it was a great Diablo-clone set on space

debarrb This game definitely would need some compatibility fixes for modern Windows and modern hardware but it would be so, so good to have it running properly. I would happily pay any amount of money for it a release that fixed compatibility issues.
Mechanor33 A very good underestimated and forgotten little hack'n slash. For the first time i played a game till the end without playing another. A kind of Diablo into space. Not very long, not much replayability, except for the very different classes, but there are only 3. BUT it was such a good time ! I really would get it back, it is a real Good Old Game !

vulchor Psyringe has confirmed on GamersGate that it does install on Win7 64-bit, so it should install on Vista 64-bit as well. Just run the installer under compatibility mode and you should be set.
vulchor It is DRM Free over at GamersGate, it is released by Nordic Games which is one of the publishers that works with GOG, so WHY IS IT NOT HERE?
