specialsymbol I just learned it was probably the first game to use fluid dynamics simulation to simulate flight. And I remember it being exceptionally close to the "real thing". I am a pilot in RL now and this game started it all.

ziesert I personally think the sequel is the best in the series. FU3 was great too but FU2 was such a great game released well ahead of its time like all Looking Glass games...
jayblalock Just chiming in, they really should add this - especially since they have most of Looking Glass's other classics on the site. It's still one of the most realistic-feeling flight sims ever made, thanks to the fluid atmospheric sim.
ziesert way ahead of it's time. used aerial photographs for scenery. FU2 and 3 were better games but I'll take what I can get. Another fantastic series by Looking Glass
jt83 It apparently had a revolutionary engine at the time. Could be fun re-textured.
dnovraD This dearly was one of the very first games that I recall being addicted to, on the DOS version with the Jello credits. I lost the disc due to age. I put it in, as a last attempt to copy it, and it was shredded.
