cyberkiller Ah, but easy had only the first few levels. To get more you had to play on normal and hard to play the whole game eventually. I'm not a fan of such skill gatekeeping, but it was what is was.

dcdk123 I would be all over this if it got a rerelease. It doesn't seem to run well in dosbox (frame rate problems). Fantastic game that still holds up and deserves to be preserved for the future.

eegpzmm8-3 Actually it works fine in DOSBox, including redbook audio.
Just make sure you create a BIN/CUE image of the game CD and mount the CUE file.
Example mount options:
mount C "xadir" -t dir -freesize 500 (folder as drive C)
imgmount D "xa.cue" -t iso (CD image as drive D)

Ratman666 One of the games of this era, especially with voodoo graphics. A whole bunch of diversified missions and a good balance between action and simulation. I would love to play this again. Unfortunately it does not run very well in DosBox.
KhellSennet I had never liked aircraft simulation games until I tried Extreme Assault. It took all the obsessive attention to details and threw them out the window, going for "Fun" instead, making this more like airborne Mechwarrior / Earthsiege than just another dumb heli-sim.

xaltu Still got my original CD somewhere. Tried several times to get it to run and failed. It would be Great if GOG could add it to there catalogue of games.
