DRM-free is valuable, and I value it that much that, given the discounted introduction of the Dishonored series, I hat to make a statement (and buy it DRM-free)! (I had already bought the series from Humble Bundle, but with Steam keys...)

nipsen "Why aren't there more votes" - game is too recent, and the wishlist isn't "Arkane Studios tribute", or maybe part of some sort of throwback to when this string of these somewhat less than constantly genocidal games turned up all at once. I.e., Arx Fatalis, Deus Ex, System Shock, Thief, etc. "You don't actually need to murder everyone for xp!"-bundle, stuff like that.

Nettacki01 @SonataFanatica: Where have you been in the last year or so? GOG hasn't really referred to themselves as "Good Old Games" for a long while. They're just a site with a focus on releasing old games while also having various new titles on the side. GOG hasn't meant anything for a while now, so why didn't you complain when they started offering indie games here?

Magissia I'd love to have this game without DRM I have the boxed version, and i cracked the bowed version to get rid of Steam, that's obviously not optimal and i'd rebuy Dishonored for a native no drm version easily.
Adamantios First of all, Dishonored is not a "first-person shooter" like the description says. It's a first-person stealth game, somewhat similar to Thief. Yes, there are pistols in the game but they are secondary weapons that one uses in one's offhand; the primary weapon is a sword. Secondly, what difference does it make that the "game just came out"? GOG is no longer limited to only old games. Anyone who has been following this site (either on GOG itself or in gaming magazines, both online and print) should know this. Arx Fatalis, developed by the same company as Dishonored, has been here for a long time so it's obvious that GOG and they are in business relations. None of Bethesda's games, on the other hand, are featured here, though. And it's true that the idea of a DRM-free Dishonored may scare some businessmen at Bethesda but it's not like Dishonored really is "protected" by DRM in the first place: all it uses is Steam, which is "quasi-DRM" (or "semi-DRM" at the most). That said, I don't expect to see Dishonored here until we first see The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind. Like everyone says, it would be great if that happened -- but I wouldn't call it a "dream" since it can definitely become a reality.
