The AI in the original version was the best. This is a real ww2 wargame with a grand strategy scope. The rule are formidable in their simplicity and historical accuracy. Simply a gem that should be unearthed.

This is the best WW2 wargame I ever played. I would gladly pay for a gog version.

Would be extremely cool, if gog could create an updated version out of Clash of Steel: The Future Edition, which set the whole, identical game into the future instead of just updating it (which made no sense at all):www.hotud.org/component/content/article/44-war/19893Just set this one back into it's original timeline. BTW, it's considered to be one of the best DOS wargames!
