There is a remaster, released in 2013 if i remember well. Very good.

Perhaps you are thinking of Mickey Mania? I agree Sega CD or PSX (aka Mickey's Wild Adventure) version would be grand for that game. Castle of Illusion didn't get a Sega CD port. It was ported to the Sega Saturn though.

Not gonna vote... i rather the MegaCD version (very similar, but with 1 more boss and better sound)... or... the PSX/PSOne version
