genericUNDEAD It's sad that Ubisoft makes such garbage decisions about DRM and destroys their own future history by not allowing GOG to purify some of their classics. The AC franchise has some great voiceovers, but the one time I purchased a Uplay game it was annoying and I gave up on ever playing it again (Farcry Blood Dragon). I'm never buying anything outside GOG at this point.
d0m5k3 AC 1 is already on GOG. AC 4 is only available on Ubisoft Connect aka UPLAY. You have to enter the password every time on game launch. It's pain and just ridiculous. It's an old game. The game is no longer profitable on this launcher. So please release it on GOG without DRM.

Gargoyled_Drake yeah, i thought that this would be around by now, but only assassin's creed game i can find on GOG is the first one, kinda sad that so many people are supporting the gamehubs where you have to be online, when all it takes is not to support DRM games and we would be able to purchase the games DRM free.

ThizzleHat I would vote for this, but I agree with most other people here about the Uplay garbage. I'd prefer this store stick to their guns and not allow DRM, rather than let in one good game. Anyways, I can play sea dogs, or a number of other games if I want to be a pirate. Too bad though, I'd love to play this game without the horrible, and sometimes game breaking, DRM.
Stryder2931 If GOG could bring it here, I would purchase it. I would even pre order now if they think it is on the horizon; however, there is NO WAY I am purchasing this game with UPlay. I have nothing against Ubisoft; but, I do not wish to have to be connected online every time I want to play a game.

Baggins Alot of the features are actually directly tied into UPlay. Certain bonus items, costumes, the ship game, the AC Initiates game, etc.
To remove Uplay completely would break quite a bit of the game.
Retroreku Well but nevertheless it is a very funny game. I hope I will be able to have it without DRM in the future. But if that ever happens, it will take ten years or more :(
