Arcomage
Dream Quest was a terrible looking game that spawned a wonderful genre because it played well, Arcomage had spirit and good art for the time and it went nowhere, the least we can do is get it ported for new system.
I mean, started to play MM7 AGAIN - because I loved the original game. Mainly because of Arcomage...
This deserves to be issued as a stand-alone. The in-game Arcomage included in Might and Magic 7 is buggy, the sound can't be played (it's there but it breaks up when playing)...that's 40% of the fun gone. I started playing with MM7 just to play Arcomage...please, try to issue this in a standalone version.
I would love to play this game again. My copy is for 32bit windows only and won't run on 64bit. I'd definitely pay for it if it was offered.
My old cd copy refuses to run properly on newer systems. PLEASE , PLEASE< PLEASE put it out on gog as a working copy for windows 7 and up and I will by it in a heartbeat!!!!
I'll never forget finding a copy of Arcomage in the "we're not selling PC games anymore" clearance bin of a GameStop decades ago. I think I still have the CD somewhere.
Would definitely love to see it on GOG to round out my MM classic collection.
I always felt this was a parody of Magic: The Gathering. How does collecting the cards work if there's no RPG?
I've heard Gwent is getting a stand alone, but Gwent ain't got nothin' Arcomage, the one true king of RPG card games.
*thumbs up*
I would like to see this game availavle
I would immediately buy Arcomage! Please, add it to your game list!
I didn't know there was an Arcomage standalone game. Would definitely pay for it.
The stand alone version of Arcomage would definitely be cool to have. It beats have to town portal around MM7 and 8 to find more challenging arcomage games.
I first played this in MM8 and I freakin' loved it. I make a point of it to win the game in every tavern and get the trophy.
I would pay for Arcomage... You could give ti a full release - no problems for me!
I bought this on its original release date on 3DO.com as a digital download, but it came with some iron-clad DRM that I could never crack when trying to transfer it to my new computer. When 3DO went under, this became a fatal problem for my copy of the game. If this were $4 or under on GOG, it would be an insta-buy for me. It's the most fun I've ever had playing a card game, and its connection to MM7 made it a truly great experience overall.
Maybe not meaty enough for a full release, but it may be great to add as a freebie to help direct people toward the wonderful M&M games c:
nevermind, i clicked the wiki link, and it says it was in both 7, and 8. Sorry should have looked before I made my comment. Well fun game, I would probably get it if it came out on here.
question for you guys. The only Might and Magic I have played is M&M8 and my favorite part of the game was Arcomage. (guess i just don't like first person games). But anyways, I have seen here and somewhere else that people have said that Arcomage is from M&M7. was it in both? because it was for sure in M&M8 because that is the only one i have played.
I'm really surprised that you don't have it. It was the best thing about M&M7. :)
