Having a lot of fun.

I just freed the slaves at the beginning. After the priest joins I go to rest and the sceeen just hangs with the White hourglass and Resting for 2 hours. Tried both outside and inside the castle. I gave it a good while 3 minutes or more each time.

If anyone has a suggestion I would appreciate it.
That is certainly a new one on me. Also it should NOT be happening (as you might have guessed).

Are you playing through GOG Galaxy or just the offline installer?
If you are using GOG Galaxy can you right-click the game (in the Installed window) and go to Manage installation > Verify/Repair.

It almost sounds like one file is corrupt, since after the hour glass (which should last a few seconds) it will take you back to the Camp and you and Leave Camp.

If you aren't using GOG Galaxy or the Verify/Repair doesn't fix it could you post the player.log file?

Below are the locations depending on what platform you are using (Windows, Linux native, or Linux Proton):

Windows:
%userprofile%\AppData\LocalLow\Tiny Trinket Games\Zoria - Age of Shattering\

Linux:
~/.config/unity3d/Tiny Trinket Games/Zoria - Age of Shattering/

Proton (ie SteamOS):
$HOME/.steam/steam/steamapps/compatdata/1159090/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/AppData/LocalLow/Tiny Trinket Games/Zoria - Age of Shattering/
Thank you for the reply.

I tried the verify/repair and no go.
I also tried starting from within folder and messing with admin and compatibility a little and had no luck.

As a side note the cursor moves, music is playing and I can hear what sounds like the cooking fire going.

You want me to post the player and not the player-prev right. That things has a lot of lines in it. (you probably know that).

I tend to watch all the Zoria forum posts, so while it might be a bit between my replies I am here :)

Yeah please do post those files.

Also in the Save folder will be all your saves. Could you post one of the ones you are playing from as well?

Are you playing on 1.0.2?
What is your OS (Windows 10, Linux, etc.)

1.0.3
Win 7. Figured I would give it a try because as I am able to run BG3. Might be my GPU. It is a 970. If so I guess I will need to refund as I can not get a used 1080 until next month at best. I will post the info in next post.

Thanks again.

BoxCollider does not support negative scale or size.
The effective box size has been forced positive and is likely to give unexpected collision geometry.
If you absolutely need to use negative scaling you can use the convex MeshCollider. Scene hierarchy path "Environment/Walls/MCastle_Turret_01b (4)/Visuals/MCastle_HardStone_Floor_05 (1)/MCastle_HardStone_Floor_05_Collision"

Can you attach the files themselves? There is an attach button just under the box where we type.

I am fairly certain the game has never been tested on Windows 7. A 970 is a bit shy on VRAM, but they have allowed for older videos cards with low vram so I really think you are fine.

Can you try the graphics turned all the way down to the lowest?

Are you running vsync on our off?
Hmm. When I try and attach the player file it keeps responding with wrong format.

The save file simply refuses to attach.

I ran it fine up to this point on Ultra. Afterwhich I tried with each graphics setting and Vsync both on and off.

Think I found the problem.

Retested at each graphic setting vsync on and off. Only time it hung was when I tried to use food.

If I do not hear from you again thank you for the help.

Edit: I generally run it vsync off.

Thanks for jumping on Discord. ReD (programmer) will want to hear about this.
There's something definitely strange happening in your case. Somehow Gog galaxy achievements seems to not be loaded properly for your user.
"User [191104411077804186] stats and achievements could not be retrieved, for reason FAILURE_REASON_UNDEFINED "
This seems to cause issues for those actions in the game that are trying to register an achievement and because it fails to do so it might get stuck in that specific state.

Unfortunately the option to just ignore achievement in case the user is not properly recognize or if Galaxy Gog fails to load properly is not implemented at this point. I will look into making sure this strange behavior is fixed in patch 1.0.5.

This does not seem to be an issue with the game itself but somehow with the communication with Gog Galaxy platform. What I will be able to do is just to make the game ignore completely achievements if the platform initialization fails for any particular reason.

Thanks for looking into the issue. I appreciate it.
