Hello,

Just reinstalled Ziggurat on my Mint (xfce) Desktop and fired it up. Runs well, Sounds great. Unfortunately, at random times, when I go to open the map, I'll get a brief glimpse of the "parchment" which will have nothing on it, and then...crash.

If anyone else has this problem, or if there is more info needed, please let me know.

Linux Mint (XFCE) 17.2

Edit: I can get the crash to happen simply by repeatedly opening and closing the map until there is empty parchment. The number of times I'd need to do this is random.

Hi,

Could you start the game via terminal, get it to crash, and send that terminal output along with the player.log for Ziggurat (there should be a separate folder in your system's Unity folder for Ziggurat so please look for a player.log there :) ) to this link: http://www.gog.com/support/contact/technical_issues_with_games/ziggurat and select "crashing" from the dropdown menu. Also make sure to include your system info by runnning in terminal "gog-system-report" and there will be a text file placed on your desktop with your system''s info on it :)

I am unable to upload my txt and log file to that link. It seems it only takes pictures. Do I need to screenshot everything, or am I missing something?

You want the second "Browse" button under Hardware information at the very bottom.

Thanks Gydion, however I tried that and it will only take the gog report that outputs to html. Should I save my log and terminal output to html?

That's odd. I've actually attached an empty dxdiag.txt file before (packaging issue so not needed). Guess you could change the extension and mention what you did in the message.

Just realized why. The Hardware information validation changes based on which OS you pick. The one I was thinking of was a Windows ticket. Looks like Linux does only want .html files. They should add .log and txt really.

I noticed the difference as well. It seems it WILL take .txt files, but NOT .log files.

I need to ask, however, can I add more than one report, or should I put them all on one txt (or html) file?

I would only include the one. Once you get the automated email you can reply and attach the other(s).

I've done both of these things, and everything seems well.

If anyone is still interested, It looks like it IS a game bug. I will send the reports to the devs and hope they can do something. I may try going back to a previous version since I still have that last GNU/Linux version. Hopefully, this is update related, and not a hardcoded game bug.
