I've noticed that the rotating cards in Ziggurat are missing their normal textures. They appear as purple instead. This problem still occurs with GOG version 2.3.0.5 on Windows. Here is a screenshot courtesy of Geralt_of_Rivia.

Just fired up the game with the latest patched version and I'm having this issue with version 2.4.0.6. Also, the game keeps randomly but reliably crashing, often before I manage to complete the first level. This happened only very rarely before.

I do not know if it is the new ATI video card drivers (switch to the latest Crimson version from the old Catalyst Control Center) or the patch, because I have applied both. Would be nice to see it fixed. My card is the Radeon HD7870.

Because of the card and stability issues, I'm still using Ziggurat v2.1.0.3. But I really wish the game devs would fix these issues soon...

This is ostensibly a very minor issue (card texture), but I can understand where you're coming from. The whole required internet connectivity thing last November saw me get a refund and then, more recently, when the game came back on sale for the same price I repurchased it.

The hot pink texture for the card is certainly interesting and, more than that, the more I learn about and participate in video game testing the more I recognise that people in the industry are overwhelmingly flying by the seat of their pants. There seems to be too little time to do anything and this stems more from poor management (design documentation, QA, et al.) and poor preproduction (basic design, time allocation, et al.). It's really, really remarkable.
Does this issue occur on Nvidia AND AMD cards or Nvidia OR AMD cards?

Win 7 x64, Intel i5 && Nvidia GTX 960 here and haven't noticed it. It's been a while since I don't have time to play the game, but if my memory serves right, I've played several builds and never experienced this bug.

If I find the time this week, I shall check up the latest build and report.

I've noticed this problem on nVidia cards. Has there been any update on the issue?
Has anyone tried the new patch (update #14) yet? Did it fix the texture problem?
I just tried the new patch and it looks like the texture problem is fixed!
