I have been trying to play this game on my new computer with windows 8. the opening cinematic works then the game crashes. I have tried multiple compatibility options but none work. can someone help me

I run this on Windows 8 with no issues. I do not have any compatibility mode enabled. Have you checked graphics drivers and such? If you get a crash report you can try support?
