I'm in the Zeus and Europa campaign and no matter what I do, I can't get Achilles access to his hall to beat the Maenad. I have all the requirements needed and I've placed the hall on every road I can find in my city, but it keeps saying that he "has no access to the hall" and to "make sure that nothing is blocking it". I've even put the hall on a road in front and beside my city with no other buildings around and it's still saying that. What is going on? Please help; I can't continue...

I'm sorry to hear that. I just played the "sandbox" adventure of Zeus and als got the Maenad monster (as the first one. before that only poseidon attacked, two times I think).

I had no problem creating and calling Achilles. I hope it helps to know that it is possible at all.

If you are really determined, you could also play the sandbox and try it out there.
But I cannot guarantee that the monsters appear in the same mixture and order each time.

One more thing: Achilles appeared on the same edge of the map as the settlers, on the only road finished when the map starts. So be sure not to cut off that part of the world by building so that he cannot get into the main part of the map. But since that would also block off settlers, I do not think that you would have done this without noticing it. There is also a warning messages if you cut off a section of the world by buildings.
Thankfully, I did manage to get him out there. I'm not sure why, but I seemed to have glitched the game into letting him out when I removed my gatehouses. Not just removing them in general, but I had to place them first, then, while paused, place his hall anywhere and erase both gate houses. Then I unpaused it and spammed his hall until the gatehouses disappeared and in that moment right after (it didn't work if I did it too late), he would have access. It is the strangest thing. The rest of my heroes found their halls fine, until now. I'm trying to get Perseus out to kill the Medusa and even with my gatehouse trick it won't work. *sigh* Hope this glitch helps anybody else out there though.

That's an incredibly strange bug indeed, and it looks like your whole campaign is corrupted... Have you tried contacting GOG support? Maybe they can find a way to solve this issue.
I'm having this problem too, and I don't have any gatehouses. It took me forever to be all set up for him too, this is frustrating :( I hope it's a bug that can be fixed.
Can you provide a savegame so others can test it? Maybe it will work on other computers. Just a guess.

Here's the save I made right after the maenid showed up. I tried three different places to put Achilles' hall with the same message that he couldn't reach it. I know my city's kind of cluttered so I'm not willing to dismiss the possibility of me just blocking a sweet spot, but since there's another person who had the problem I may as well check.
Well, it works for me.

I loaded your save, placed Achilles' Hero Hall at the entrance of the city (where your college, gymnasium and drama school are situated) and right-clicked on it.

It said that Achilles could not access his Hero's Hall. I closed the menu, waited a few moments and opened it again. Now it said: Your city isn't worthy of Achilles yet or something like that. So I closed the menu again and waited a few moments. After opening the menu for a third time, I could send for Achilles.

I've saved the game at this spot and uploaded it for you. Here: http://www.filedropper.com/europamaenid1

I downloaded the save just in case and tried again. Maybe the problem was that I wasn't waiting long enough. Thanks for the help!
