Why? Would it really kill you to include the Japanese audio? Why English only? Some of us prefer the original voices. It's like watching a dubbed movie. Some of the nuance is always lost. :@

I checked the steam forum and somebody posted the japanese voices patch on a pinned message inside the discord channel, which you can join wtih the following link: https://discordapp.com/invite/0p2ysp1kY6yvHEel#btn .

Note that I couldn't test is as I have not the game yet.

Note that the only voice acting to be found in Ys SEVEN is the yells and grunts heard while attacking and switching characters. They can also be disabled in the in-game options. You're not going to be missing out on much "nuance". This as opposed to Ys VIII which is fully voiced in both English and Japanese.

But that's not an issue in Ys VIII case, since there is full support for both english and japanese voices, right?

Great! It was written so in the store, but I wanted to be sure, as there are some titles which still have support for japanese interface, but i can't find a way to access it.
