I was wondering if anyone could clarify for me why the release counter has 16 hours to go until it opens up for downloads-the date already rolled over to 4/11 for me here in EST. I know it's only some amount of hours, but I still find it odd.

there is a steam post that says 2 am for us. i know thats not a lot to go on so i guess we will see what happens at 2am

On the Homepage it says 14 hours remaining.
That would be 11pm here...
I hope i don't have to wait that long.

the release time is like 4hours later than steam

i really hope thats a bug or something ... because it would suck if gog user have to wait like forever till they can play

It looks like it will release on GOG in 13h:44m (around 5pm EST). This is like 4 hours after the game is set to be released on steam.

go to GOG online and go to Account >> click on Yooka-Laylee game >> shows timer on page

Ahh thankyou, it shows via the website but not galaxy.

Just under 11 hours remaining which would make it about 5am 12/04/2016 in Western Australia.
Steam shows 'approximately 6 hours'.

Bit of a bummer, was hopoing to start the download around midnight to play tomorrow.

It's 12pm for me in the UK and the website says it unlocks in just under 10 hours. I'm a little annoyed. I backed the game on Kickstarter, electing to choose GOG over Steam for reasons. I'm regretting choosing it for PC if I'm honest (but, saying that, I didn't have an Xbox One when I backed the project).

I'm still glad I chose GOG over steam on the kickstarter, I agree with their values and they put their money where their mouth is promoting them so they have my respect.
It's a little annoying that i can't start the download around midnight tonight to play tomorrow (slow australian internet), but I'll live.

Same here, wish I chose the physical copy because they can play almost 2 days before.
