I remember the original release having a multiplayer mode that you could also play against bots, is it still in the game? Since the store page only lists signleplayer I'm wondering if they took it out.

There is
Bot Fight
Join/Create Local Lan
and the legacy check the ubi multiplayer server (didn't remember my ubi login but it didn't seem to do much when trying to sign in)

So all in all everything seems to be there in that department.

I can confirm LAN worked on the version before it was removed the first time. Hoping it's the exact same version.

Does this version offer bots in LAN? I'd love to make team matches with some friends on LAN, but with the previous version, when I tried some years ago (roughly before it was de-listed here), I couldn't figure out how to add bots to a local match.

There is no way to play with bots together on online/LAN matches on the original version unless doing extra effort by placing bots on custom maps.

The latest unofficial patch provides native bot support for listen servers via console commands (AddBot/RemBot etc.).

Hello,

I'm considering buying this game (the original, not the remake).

However, I see in the product page that this game is listed as single player only.

Doesn't this game feature LAN ?

I read here above that the initial version did but as I read above, the game was removed for some time and then reappeared later. I was wondering if it still features LAN.

I pulled the trigger right now and multiplayer is there. The game's product page shall be updated to reflect multiplayer is available through LAN.
