Changelog for version 1.54:


Fixed a crash linked to corpse duplication when you stunned a mind controlled Xenonauts
Units that are stunned now take 1HP damage, which allows you to use a medikit on them to revive them
The Singularity Cannon now has a sell value, so should correctly appear in the base stores

Another patch; and I thought support had ceased! Glad to see this isn't true :)
They said no new features, but will support with fixing bugs.

hey glad you are still maintaining it, but the patch will not work for some reason it will not find the installation, even when i moved the patch file from the download folder to the game folder. not sure what is wrong here, and do not really feel like uninstalling and redownloading the whole game again.

Worked just fine for me. Xenonauts is intalled on "D" drive in the default directory. I'm on win 7 64.

It worked fine for me too : game installed in folder "C:\GOG Games", and update didn't encountered any trouble.
Problems for me 2...
Do a clean install to d:\games\xenonauts patch the file patch_xenonauts_2.0.3.8.exe and then tried the new one patch_xenonauts_2.1.1.11.exe. No install directory found. Please advise.

I don't think GOG actually has an more up to date version than 1.54 : Chris try to communicate as much as possible and the only lasts news about GOG release are and [url=http://www.goldhawkinteractive.com/forums/showthread.php/12833-Xenonauts-V1-56-V1-57-Stable-Released!?p=146352&viewfull=1#post146352]here.

In summary :
"If the fix in V1.57 does its job, that will be the last update we make to Xenonauts. The problem is that the shooting code was pretty complex even before we spliced some of the Community Coder additions into it when we made V1.5, so we're really not sure if it will fully address the issue (or if it may cause any additional problems).

Regarding the Mac / Linux builds and updates to the non-Steam distributors - this is a lengthy process (it literally takes me most of the day) so I'm going to wait until Monday to see if there are any issues with V1.56 before I roll it out, as if there's a bug in it I'll have wasted all that time and the distributors will be annoyed at me. And if V1.57 proves stable a week after that, I'll do it all again one final time. "

So I think they want the version to be really stable (without any new bug detected)(and it seems there is already some new bugs...and they're already working on it) before sending it to GOG, to not multiply useless numerous updates.
Patience ;) (even if it's sometimes frustrating, I'm waiting the "final version" a lot too ^^)

To summarize : the developers didn't provided it to GOG yet : they're working on a fix for 1.56 which has known bug, and will send the update to non-steam distributors when they find the fix.
They didn't send the updates to non-steam distributors to not waste time of the distributors and their time due to possibly multiple fix since 1.54 (please see there for a small explanation from the developer himself).

So we will have to wait a little more ;)
