I select "Window mode" but its starts in Full Screen.


Where does this game saves its config files?

Look for gameconfig.xml, wherever you set the directory for your saves.

I can't get windowed to work, either.

You have to select a lower resolution than your desktop to get it to run in windowed mode, unfortunately. Otherwise it just defaults to fullscreen (it's an engine limitation).

The config files are in the /Xenonauts/assets/ folder, but the save files are in My Documents by default. You can change that on the launcher.

Tried that. I've 1680x1080 desktop resolution and switched the game resolution to 1200x1024. Still got fullscreen.

Tried lowered screen ratio too. Sadly it went automatically to full screen.

Hello,
I was able to resolve this by selecting full screen option, then selecting a lower resolution in the dropdown, then when the game launched in full screen I pressed Alt+Enter.

This opened the game in a window now.

have to do this everytime the game launches but thats no bog deal.
