Hello

I can not download the game, I always get this message

* Checksum error on chunk 0, please contact support *

need help

Thanks
I'm getting the same message, waiting for a response from support.
Same here. Maybe it's in the process of being updated to get rid of that internet connection bug.
Ah, bought the game last night, tried to install, a different error, then this morning got the same error as you fellahs.
Guess ill just have to wait a bit then.

But i think it would be nice if GOG would put up a message or something when these problems happen...
All this screwing around in the dark dose not leave me in a happy place.
Same error :(

Was looking forward to playing this now.
Hey guys, here's what I got from support. It didn't work but perhaps you will have better luck.

First, please redownload and reinstall the Downloader, just in case you're using an old version

If that doesn't help, delete the contents of your user account's GOG.com folder - its location depends on your operating system:
Windows Vista/7: C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\GOG.com\
Windows XP: C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\Local Settings\Application Data\GOG.com\
Then try launching the Downloader.

If that doesn't help as well, you should verify that your .NET installation isn't corrupted. To do this, use the .NET Framerowk Setup Verification Tool and choose .NET 3.5 SP1
I tried all 3 things you mentioned bill.uk and none of them worked for me either. Still getting the same error message.

Anyone has alraedy tried to download the game without GOG Downloader (simply deactivate the switch in the download page)?
I managed to dowload all 3 game files separately, now will check if installation will be ok when return home

The solution is to download without the GOG downloader.

This worked for me, thanks.
Surprised this is still an issue, especially since the patch downloads just fine. I'll just download it manually.

It's been fixed, actually :)
Thanks for the reply! It was still occurring this morning, I'll give it another try and file a report if it's still there.

edit: It is still happening, unfortunately. It's not a problem for me personally, since I was able to just download it directly.

FWIW, I lowered the simultaneous connections to 1 and cleared the app's cache per this thread's advice.

Again, not really an issue for me, I have my game, so if I'm the only dude, no problem.
