Does anyone else have this issue in the first x-com game:

Whenever I finish researching a project, and the window comes up asking if I wish to view results, it hardly ever takes me to the results (maybe 1 in 20 times it actually takes me to the UFOpedia page).

I thought I remember a fix for this back in the day, but that was like 20 years ago and I'm drawing a blank. Its not so much that I need to know the results (I have them pretty much memorized), its more that I can't remember what the heck I was researching :)

Isn't it one of the repeatable topics? Interrogations of live aliens are repeatable I think, and when you don't learn anything new, there is nowhere to take you.

Just a random guess, I didn't encounter it myself (I'd play with OpenXcom anyway).

No this is just any old research...even direct stuff like heavy plasma or mind probe.

How difficult is setting up the game for OpenXcom? I figure I'd do it next time I play - I'm way too far into this game to start it over :)

I didn't have any problem with it, just copy your ufo installation where indicated and it's done. I think it even allows you to import your savegames from the vanilla game.
