I'm considering buying this game although I already own a copy of it on Steam (DRM free is always better). However, due to the lack of multiplayer functionality, is it even possible to achieve multiplayer-related achievements like "Meet New People. Then Kill Them."? Or are they disabled and do not count?

The multiplayer achievements are not included either in this version so it's not a problem.
