A while ago i bought xcom 2 on steam and the 2k launcher and the fact the game tries to connect to the 2k servers once ingame really annoys me.

Can anyone say if this has no DRM, no launchers and no "extra set" trying to login to 2k once you start the game ?

I bought Xcom 2 yesterday (while it was still at 3€) , just started it once up to the starting menu, not going further.
It started without any launcher and I had no request of login or anything.
Maybe this will happen after first game start but, thanks GoG, I highly doubt it.

Chimera Squad and Xcom 1 do not have this launcher as well at all.
Although in Chimera Squad you have to click a button called "Launcher" to quit the game (and it actually quits, it does not start the launcher either. It is just Firaxis not bothering changing the UI text for the GoG release, although they changed its functionality obviously).
