so far i haven't been able to take any screenshots of X4 - fraps doesn't work, and there's nothing in the clipboard buffer so i can't PrtScn > paste one into a viewer manually either.

so how are you people doing it? (ARE you doing it?)
is there an internal screenshot function or keybind i've missed? i looked but didn't see one...

Does your keyboard have an Fn key? Press that with Printscreen sometimes works.

or... Press Ctrl+ printscreen.

or

Shift + Printscreen...

or even

Alt+ printscreen

sometimes all with FN...

I had to go through all this before itfinally started printing into Windows Paint and even then there`s a weird picture delay. But it finally worked.

Dunno why they made it so hard to print pics.

use qualifiers... i never even thought of that.

true that, i don't use Experience but MSI Afterburner also has a screenshot function - but it doesn't allow keybinding to PrtScn, which is what i'm automatically going to jab at every time. ..

must remember to hit Numpad 7... Numpad 7...

that's ok, i appreciate your help and it gave me another avenue to explore.

Afterburner isn't quite the fix i hoped it would be - i notice the screens it takes are very dark compared to what i'm seeing in-game.
