So i have 2 small miners
The first miner does fine, he goes where needed and mine for ore and then sells it, the advanced-mine order requiers 3 stars which works just fine.
But then i bought a second miner, same ship with different layout, different engines mostly.
The pilot is a 3 star pilot, but the only option i have is sector mining, is it a bug? Or am i missing here something?
The advanced mining is greyed out

I experience this occasionally. Also, I am sometimes able to give pilots with 2 2/3 stars 3 star orders.

My best guess is that the service crew add some small multiplier to the pilot's rating, and the UI stars for pilot's level are rounded rather than floored.

Do you have a small number of 0 star service crew on board?
