How can I install a mod?
I don't find the right path.

I find the right way.

Just create a folder "extensions" in your Install Folder ("X4 Foundations"). Where you install a Game.

You should have a link on your desktop to start the game, if you right click it and go to Properties you should be able to click "Open File Location" button in the "Shortcut" tab of the window that opens up.
This should bring you to the game folder, create the extensions folder there and then install the mods there.

You should also be able to go to nexus mods and install their NMM (Nexus mod manager) which you can use to download and install mods.

if you installed the game with Galaxy, it will take you to Galaxy's folder instead - BUT the last section of the target string shows the game's install folder, so just navigate there manually and do the deed

e.g.: P:\Programs_7\GalaxyClient\GalaxyClient.exe /command=runGame /gameId=1588366064 /path="P:\X4 Foundations"

...in this case, i'd just go to P:\X4 Foundations and put my extensions folder in there.
I have FALON in GOG Galaxy installed so all the code is in my Galaxy files and the game works so far ( I am on level 13), except the option to level up the optional perks that do not seem to work, so I can only add the S P E C I A L perks, but can I add manual mods to compensate for that like lock pick and other mods, where do I drop them into all those files to have them work?
