I'd like to see support implemented for 4:3 resolutions, particularly 800x600, 1024x768, 1280x960 and 1600x1200. I own a CRT monitor in addition to my regular LCD monitor, and I like to use it for retro gaming. This applies also to newer 'retro styled' titles such as Ion Fury and Wrath.

I've noticed that Wrath does not support 4:3 resolutions at the moment. You can force say, 800x600 with a command line parameter such as +vid_width 800 +vid_height 600, but the UI doesn't scale, even with +vid_conwidth 400 +vid_conheight 300. Also, once in 800x600, the menus look really low resolution and to click on checkboxes you have to click outside of them.

I know the devs have mention that better resolution support is something that they are working on, but since most of the requests I've seen ask for stuff like ultrawide support, I figure I'd also request for legacy resolutions to be considered as well.

The menu scaling issue is definitely in need of fixing. As for the lower resolutions during gameplay, it's possible to increase the "pixelization" by adjusting the pixelization slider. You can make the game look quite rough and old using the lowest settings.

I'm aware of the pixelation options, but what I'm asking for is that 4:3 resolutions are included in the ones you can select through the main menu so I don't have to resort to command line parameters if I want to play Wrath using a 4:3 display.
Came by just to ask this very question. I'm extremely interested in buying this game since it's being developed on a Quake engine fork and seeing this thread worries me a lot. I like to play Quake engine games and forks at 800x600@125hz or 320x240@120hz depending on the game. The goal is not to get the game to look "rough and old", but to use my display's best range and resolutions I enjoy. This is below the fact that I am far too accustomed to playing my FPS games on a CRT where there is virtually no input delay compared my 144hz 1ms 1080p monitor. I really hope the developers understand this need and add support for lower 4:3 resolutions.
You can edit the config.cfg file to make the game run in a lower resolution, but since the UI can't scale properly you can't really play the game. For example, I can't click on "Return to Tether".
