Hopefully someone else has experienced what I am about to describe and can provide a solution.
I am attempting to play Worms WMD on a laptop (Win 8, Intel 4400 graphics) and when I start a game the screen will appear to freeze at the loading screen. Basically, the loading "gears" will spin, then nothing. But then it seems like something has happened, as I can hear the sound effects if I click around the screen, yet it's still stuck on the loading screen image. I then have to do the three finger salute to exit out of the game.
I've experimented with changing various graphic options but nothing helped. It's baffling, as I have no issues with games that are more graphically intense. Hard to believe a Worms game is giving me grief!
