Is GOG not finished setting it up? Or is GOG Galaxy mandatory for download?
Pretty sure it's not ready yet, GOG Galaxy won't allow downloading it yet either.

Hmmm... wasn't that the whole point of the countdown? So they could prepare it, and pre-orderers could get it earlier?

I was thinking the same thing. Not having the game ready at the end of the countdown kind of defeats the purpose of having it there to begin with. At any rate, the wait is killing me!

Yeah me too ^^;

I never actually played Worms Online, so I hope it has a chat function, as it sounds incredibly annoying to accidentally have my finger slip when using the ninja rope or firing, and accidentally kill myself with everyone thinking I'm a complete idiot.

Steam users have the same problem ...

Worms World Party: Release Date Update
Hello Wormers,

During final testing for today's release of the game, our QA team discovered a critical bug buried deep in the game's code.

No one at Team17 is happy releasing the game with this bug in place. We'll be working our prods off to get this fixed and on sale as soon as possible.

You can use this thread to discuss, I'll be popping in and posting updates whenever they are available.

Thanks guys,

MT17

Oh, that relieves me a bit, as I thought GOG was just being lazy. :/
Hopefully they'll fix this soon :3

I am teeming 17 times over ;-)

Also if this bug turns out to be unfixable, I hope GOG will refund.

Of course, don't worry for that ;)

Yeah, despite some peoples' negative opinions about GOG, they're not monsters. I mean if this happened on Origin, even EA would have to refund.

I think too (even if I never used Origin) if a game is broken, there is no reason you can't be refunded.

In top of that, always remember on GOG that if a product should work on your computer and don't, you can ask for a refund during 30 days after the purchase (that's the "MONEY BACK GUARANTEE. 30 days coverage after purchase.").
And if you bought a game and didn't downloaded anything of it, you can ask for a refund (you "cancel" your buy). I don't know if it's for 30 days too, but I know you can cancel a purchase (of course if you don't abuse of it, and haven't downloaded the game and/or bonuses ;)).
GOG aren't perfect, but for me, they're good :)
