I'm playing WiC and it runs smoothly until after the first mission after taking West Berlin. It crashes and I get an error message telling me I don't have enough memory to continue and should close one or more programs..

Here are my specs:
Windows 10 64-bit
nVidia GTX 1060 6GB edition
16GB Ram
Ryzen 7 1700X at 3.4 GHz

It may seem trivial but I'm also running Discord while playing. I'd appreciate any assistance.

EDIT: Ran a test. Closing Discord had no effect.

Im having exactly the same problem
I remember having sudden game exits with out of memory. After some searching, I got into video settings and changed the texture to Uncompressed, Direct X 10 disabled. Other options are High or Medium. Might give it a try, start with texture and Dx10 options.
I had this problem too, the only way to fix it is to run the first mission (And I believe the second mission as well. I did the first 3 to be safe) in low graphics mode. After that point it's been said you can play back in high.
Try downloading a program called "Large Address Aware"

Use it to browse to the games .exe file and select the option for it to use more than 2 GB of memory. This game will crash if you try and run it at HD resolutions or higher especially on maximum graphics settings.

Hope this helps.

I have used the Large Adress aware program for World in Conflict and immediatly pops out a file named setting.sav. What should I do with the setting.sav? Should I apply it to the game ?
the large address aware program worked excellently for me.

I know this is old, but can you provide a link to this tool or an explanation on how to do it?

Thanks!
