Hi,

I see a lot of problems regarding the game not starting up. Mine does start, but when I try to start a new game - be it campaign or tutorial, the loading screen never finishes. I then have to end the game running via task manager.

Anyone know how to solve this?

Having the same issue so far, doesnt seem to matter what kind of launcher its on. Guessing the audio keeps going just fine though?

No idea how to fix this. Googling yields nothing because this game has receded into complete obscurity and windows updates over the past 14 years have long buried any path towards resolving this without being able to get debug logs.

This game has problems loading levels when your CPU exceeds 8 or more cores. You need to download some DLL files that will fix the loading issue.

You can grab the files from http://download.wicmwmod.com/support/wicdbg_gt16_core.zip

You may need to highlight the above download link and copy it into the URL of your browser because the download doesn't always work on Chrome based browsers when simply clicking on it.

Copy the downloaded files into the games directory then it should work.

I'm afraid that hasn't worked for me. I downloaded the DLL files and still can't load.

Downloaded and did exactly what the readme said, and now I'm getting error messages about missing files
