I am now getting an error of installation failed: disk access problem. I have uninstalled and re-installed, but the error keeps coming up each time. even the game backup does not let me continue to the game.

Is there something I am missing to do? I have looked at the troubleshooting area to try those responses with no luck.

Any help would be greatful as now I do not see the deep6.exe file with the download.

I assume that you get the error when you install from Galaxy? Can you download and install the game manually from the GOG-Website?

Nope, I get the game cannot find the deep6.exe file, and then something about an mss32.dll error too

Another cause of problems might be that you try to install the game to a location inside your c:\programs (or c:\programs x86) folder. if you are currently trying that, try to use another folder like e.g. c:\games.
