This is good news (I didn't have the mouse issue - but definitely the building issue)
This patch did not solve the mouse lag problems for me, unfortunately.
Apparently the game has removed the cloud saves system from the game after the patch. I didnt be aware until today

Internal Hotfix 2 (19 September 2018)

[WIN] reduced mouse cursor lag yet again.
[WIN] fixed a problem with Gareth encounter not appearing

Hope this ones better than the last one.....
so the mouse on the main menu/ui is fixed for me, but when you use right click to mouse look and move around there's still a minor dead zone. I can manage as long as mousing with the UI is responsive.

Since the hotfix I have the following things that have popped up.

1. Due to using multiple monitors the mouse is no longer attached to the Wizards & Warriors screen, resulting in closing the game window down if you get close to the edge of the screen.

2. I am unable to get more than 1 hit point per level up regardless of what I try. I rerolled using saves 147 times and the only thing that changed was the ability points. When running the game on original hardware from 2000 this issue is not as prevalent. Before the patch I had to roll frequently, but the number would change. Now it does not. I do not see how anything that has been done has changed this, but it is now an issue.

3. I am getting stuck in the level geometry that wasn't happening before at all either. Namely two places I can reproduce the issue is an underwater tunnel in the serpent temple and the elevator to F'Loki Ra. I am also now experiencing the issue that popped up originally where the toad people stand in the hallways of the toad village and won't move regardless of how much I restart.

I am loving this game, but these issues on top of all of the bugs that have been in the game since it originally came out make it a very difficult game to play.

Is your HP high for your character's level?

(In particular, did the character change class recently?)

If so, then expect to get only 1 HP until your level catches up with your HP.

This happens from the get go when my characters are level 1 before changing to advanced classes. It is regardless of the level. My level 4 fighter has a whopping 24 hitpoints now.

And I will re-iterate, it did not do this before the most recent hotfix. Like I said, I don't see any way that the hotfix would cause this, but I am reporting what is happening. A lvl 4 fighter with 24 HP is a very tought run.

Can someone else confirm if it occurs with fresh hotfix? Like creating new fighter, take him to final dungeon for quick leveling and see if he gets only 1 HP per level up?

Don't want to risk installing hotfix if it brings such consequences, but I have doubts that it could break such important game mechanic.
WW Readme.rtf has some comments on hit points:

When I change to a new role, I am only receiving one hit point. Why is this?
Hit points are re-rolled whenever a character makes a level - if the new total is less than the character's current hit points, the character is only awarded 1 hit point. This insures proper balance throughout the game, and that all similar characters will have reasonably consistent hit points. Also, it should be noted that many factors are evaluated to determine how many hit points a character should have.

I have a high fortitude but it does not appear to be boosting my HP
Many factors determine how many hit points a character will have - fortitude is only one of them. Other factors include the race, gender, and class of the character when hit points are determined as well. For example, an Omphaaz elephant man barbarian with low fortitude will still have more hit points than a pixie wizard with high fortitude. However, the higher the fortitude, the more hit points that character will receive, although a 1 point difference in fortitude might hardly be noticeable. Fortitude is also used for other factors, including carrying capacity and chance for successful resurrection.

Why does the Zenmaster not get more hit points than a warrior in level ups?
Many factors are evaluated to determine how many hit points a character should have - it entirely depends upon character history, as well as original ability rolls, clans, and other factors.

A couple of saves on John Hubbard's site take you to the end or close to it.
See the Ironworks website.

Hot fix has done the trick, the mouse is golden now, no more jittering.
No issue with HP on level up either...sweet.

If that's the case, then "permanent:" HP losses won't matter in the long run. For example, you could try doing something like this:
* Have a character repeatedly cast Blood to Gold, until the character's maximum HP is down to 1.
* Level the character up once.

If HP rolls work like this, when the character levels up, the character should gain a lot of HP, probably to more than their former total, when gaining the level.

(Someone should try this and report back; if this works, this might be a nice way to get a little extra money out of a spell most players would likely dismiss as useless.)
