Greetings! So I am at a chest by a small bit of water. Shortly after starting the game there was a ladder going down. Anyway the chest does nothing. The movement arrows are on the screen when I try and click on it. Nothing happens. How do I interact with the chest?

Read the manual first. Such a typically ignorant response.
The 2 or 3 previous chests I found opened when I clicked the open icon on the game screen. The chest I am at now did not. Hence the reason for my post.
Your suggestion to use the "O" key actually worked.

There are other things to do with a chest besides open it. Thus the suggestion. Given you decided to take it so personally, on the second read through try comprehending what you read.
