Posted in GD but just to be sure:

Just two questions though for the GOG team:

- There isn't a Crusaders of the Dark Savant manual, just the Wizardry Gold one. Couldn't you find a copy? Or is the Gold manual just the same/expanded version of the original one?

- What's the soundtrack from? It obviously isn't the original music from the game. Also, the attached cover says "Wizardry 6 + 7" but there are only mp3 files for Wizardry 6 music.

Thanks!
Well, I thought it is from PC-Engine version of Wizardry 6, but there was no PC-Engine version :)
It seems, it's just suite, inspired by Wizardry 6. Instead of non-existent soundtrack.

It might be from the FM Towns version of Wizardry 6. I'm intimately familiar with this version's music (I was going to upload the tracks to YouTube a long time ago, but I never got around to it), so I'll let you know once my downloader gets around to this file.

I've checked the provided Gold manual against my old DOS Crusaders manual and the text is identical except for a couple of things in the beginning (intro page and controls). All of the actual game information is the same.

Yep, maybe!
It would be interesting to listen to, in case if it differs from this mysterious GOG music.
By the way, I had this music for years and was listening to this sometimes (it's great!), being sure for all this time it was ripped from PC-Engine. :D
Ok, so this is Judas' answer to the music question from the GD:

"It's part of a series of soundtracks, or music inspired by the Wizardry series, that was released only in Japan. Kentaro Haneda composed most, if not all, of the music for that series. One of the more famous ones was We Love Wizardry."
It was from the SNES version of the game.
Yeah yeah, bumping this up but having seen a couple of videos of the Japanese PSX version of Crusaders, any chance that we could have that game's soundtrack added to the downloads?

You can get it here:

Listen to it with Foobar2000 with PSF component installed.
Yeah, but would prefer it in a more convenient format (like MP3 or OGG). PSF playback options on Linux are... limited. So that is no help at all, sorry.

Yes, Audacious tries to play it in complete silence for some reason, although it has plugin for it. :(
I use Foobar in WINE, because there's no other way to play a lot of game formats in Linux anyway, besides the most common.
If Foobar can save it out into something else, that'd be at least useful.

And something else that is strange: Why does Wiz Gold have completely different music to the original version?

Just to bump this up. Yes, Foobar 2000 could and did play and convert the PSX Wiz 7 files. Not perfectly, but they're quite all right to listen to.

The music being different was probably a design decision made way back when. I guess it was something else to be "enhanced" along with the graphics and such.
