thsi is for wiz 8 (sorry I should have put that in the title)


When I had the disk version there was a non-vendor patch (community hack) to speed up combat. Does the GOG version have that patch built in or does that old patch still work ?

Wiz8Fast is what you're wanting. It works fine with the GOG version but isn't included with it.

As noted on the page very high settings will make enemies sort of teleport into place instead of visibly moving, so you'll probably want to start with a lower setting and experiment until you get something that works without that result. :)
