Hi,
Is there any quick way to reject characters with boni under 18?
It is a bit of a drag haveing to go through the whole create process just to reject a character because of low bonus.
It takes long enough to get a decent bonus and then you throw a 1 for karma. Also is there any way to get the bonus before deciding on race? I want to build my faerie mage first, but if I don't get a really high bonus, say only 18/19 I could make it into a Valkyrie or Samurai and would prefer a Rawulf or Mook even.

It's not Wiz8, since you don't have random values there.

I'm not sure whether the mook were in Wiz6. If not, then it must be Wiz7.

There were Mooks in Wiz 6.
Unless you use an editor there is no way to speed up the process, AFAIK.

Related to the OP's question: how many bonus points can you actually get in 6 and 7? I'm looking at starting in on those, but before I tackle that horrible character creation system, I'd at least like to know whether various combinations are actually in reach.

As for speeding up the process: for 6 (and the DOSbox version of 7) you can hit the Windows key and/or Alt-Tab out and close the window. Alt-F4 doesn't seem to work though.

I'm not sure about the bonus points question but CTRL-F9 exits DOSBox.
