I bought the Wing Commander I + II pack, which is listed as working on Mac.

But when I look at the games in my library, I can install and play Wing Commander II, but not the first game because it says that it's not compatible.

Help? I'm using OSX 10.12 and running the game through GOG Galaxy

You can download the game directly through your browser or by selecting 'Backups and Goodies' in Galaxy, and then run it on Mac. That was how I played the game.
