Hello all,

I never played WC1 and thought I'd give it a go. Now I got a huge problem: all my beds are used, I saved a game in every one of them. I don't seem to be able to overwright those though, I can only "awake" a campaign. Am I missing something or are you only allowed to save 8 times for the entirety of the game?

You should be able to overwrite saves. What you're probably doing is clicking on the heads of the sleepers, which awakens them. Click on their bodies or feet to overwrite them. You can not delete a save (without mainly finding the file on your computer and deleting it,) but there's nothing to stop you from over-writing.
