Well, I've read through many of these threads, but I cannot get the already patched DOSBOX to work with Wing Commander 1 + 2 with Roland emulation. I suspect my WC2.cfg is wrong. Any ideas?

EDIT: OK, well Wing Commander I works fine, but WC2 refuses to play with Roland.

EDIT2: Scratch that, I solved my own problem. But, I have no speech.

EDIT3: OK, so I made this thread for no reason.

I had to do v r c25 d1 to make it work with the emulator since I don't have the hardware.

That thread is dead. The only thread that properly explains this is dead.
Been scouring the net for hours trying to find out WHERE do I put v r816 c25 d1 in the WC2 cfg file?
There are Stickies on this site that say SOLVED but they DO NOT EXPLAIN WHERE TO PUT "v r816 c25 d1" in the WC2 cfg file.

NOT SOLVED AT ALL UNTIL THAT INFO IS IN THE STICKY!
