I have installed WC4 onto my machine with windows 8 as my OS. every time i try running it it crash's and freezes my screen. Has anyone else experienced similar issues and are there any suggestions how to fix the problem.

Same is happening to me, and I have yet to find an answer.

Do you have Team Viewer installed on your PC for remoting into your computer? Or something like Team Viewer? I finally got my game to work by disabling it when I play that game.
