This error message pops up everytime is try to save settings or play through the "Graphic mode setup" on Wing Commander 3, I've tried to run it as administrator but still no use.

did you run that utility through the shortcut provided by gog.com in the startmenu ?

THANK YOU! I saw the other topic and they just said "run it through the start menu" and I had no idea what they meant! Now I can actually play the game without having to alt-tab to see the controls.
