Simple question, can Privateer 2 and wing commander games run in full screen instead of just the small dos box?

Thanks but that seems just to create the small dos box in an inner-window.

Maybe something I've missed here setup wise?

The folders and files will be different, but you should be able to find the config file.

If it's "garbled" then uninstall the game and re-install it.

But I will do a video on Privateer 2 soon anyway...
