Im playing sm2 and one of my wingmen named spirit keeps dying for no reason, same thing happened im sm1 but I was able to fix it bc of a save game editor that someone had at the wing commander website. I tried using the editor again for sm2 but my save files are not there bc sm2 is a different exe than wc1/sm1. any Ideas???

SM2 saves are in CRUSADE.WLD file (not SAVEGAME.WLD as WC1 and SM1). Edit that one.

Hi, I'm sharing the similar problem with Spirit in SM2, flying second mission with her. It is a hard one, as keep 4 Krants and 4 Dralthis from Drayman is a difficult task. I managed to finish mission twice so far and then it looked like, I don't know, like she rammed it into the Claw, or like her Raptor exploded just like that for unknown reason! I mean WTF??? Should I try to maintain a big distance from Tiger's Claw (let's say 15000 kms), try to lure Spirit away from it and then try to make a quick landing?

That sounds like the infamous diying wingman bug (assuming you have used the transfer program to import your character into SM1/SM2).
Look in this thread for the solution (use the save game editor linked).
