Thanks and have a nice day :)
Sounds like a lot of good improvements...

But doesn't mention if the really large kraken have anything to loot after you defeat them... Although that might be under 'tweaked loot spawning'....
Still getting white screen of death crash (funny thing it always crashes the crash reporter as well so no error log). Shame they never seem to get this fixed. Have to wait till I buy new rigs then.

I know it's at least partly my lappy's problem. While it meets the system requirements it won't accept anything else than laptop manufacturers drivers which are ancient. Any attemt to use ATI's own drivers cause BSoD.

· Added an option to the dock master to completely repair you ship
Very nice addition! Might actually stay in my ship to fight with this implemented (manually repairing every single block after combat got very tedious, so I've just disembarked and fought the enemy vessels/beasts on foot instead).
I actually saw a ship down below, and they had a air purifier too! I have no idea what they were shooting at, bugs? they totally ignored me... single handedly shot them all one at a time with not a single point of damage.

When you ask for your ship to get repaired he comments about billing the costs... if you have to pay or if it goes to your employer i'm not quite sure...

And it's nice standing near or on top of a propeller when you know it's not going to start sucking or hurting you when you're working on it and you don't have to avoid adding engines...

Now we just need a device that does auto repair (although slowly).

Couldn't confirm if the large spawning kraken have anything of interest. I'll have to check again later.

· Added cotton and cloth to the stores
Ooh, nice. Haven't played in a while, but trying to harvest lots of cotton was a pain in the ass, so I'm glad that I'll be able to just buy it now. (Let's just say that I tend to go through a lot of healing items.)
Having taken a bit of time to poke around in the new version, I've found that some of the old grievances still remain.

Also, I find it amazing that once I could be bothered with making a breathing apparatus for my character, taking the Gravity Temple was easier firstly getting in the Temple of Alteration, and secondly dealing with all the bloody turrents. I took a 'run right for the boss' approach for that issue.

As it turns out, trying to park an airship outside a temple in the upper sky is quite a task. There's the spittle from the core, the giant basilisks, and airships to deal with.

For the record, I found hazard armor + gas exploration helmet make the gaseous layer a breeze (heh); with that 99% filtering, you can mine for adamantium "forever" (air supply being replenished quite regularly by uncovering air pockets).

As for parking in the atmospheric layer, I usually looked for a "bay" to anchor my ship in; with island cover above and preferably on the left and right to protect from the environmental hazards... once disembarked, basilisks and enemy airships go directly after you instead, so at that point the ship is safe. :)

Having explored and looted all the mandatory and hidden temples, the only one I found to be a real hassle was Stillness (the one with all the spikes). "Favourite" temple IMHO -- the optional one with the Vibroknife tablet (labelled as Temple of Separation if memory serves), which makes what's both the best mining tool and the best melee weapon.

I found if you go in deep enough into a large landmass, the air simply stops being poisoned.

My best and preferred way to mine is using a combat knife, with cloudstone. Does like 90 damage and attacks 5 times per round, and if you have a high strength not only do you mine faster but the area you effect is much larger too. I think i nearly mined an entire huge landmass out in something like 10 minutes... (Quadruple jump, slashing all the way up, and all the way down... Makes for a very flat and even wall....) only adamantium takes longer and i sometimes pull out a diamond tipped drill for those if it's faster, otherwise doing AOE usually gets them all at the same time.

Technically the gas spreads into newly mined areas as long as you don't block its path, you can see it happen if you watch its "edge" closely; but that does take a very long time to happen with longer tunnels.

As for "mining knives", a cloudstone vibroknife does almost three times the damage of a cloudstone combat knife (compared them just now, 455 vs. 1287 DPS, both being master crafted) -- of course, the latter may be considered overkill, as I remember the combat knife was also very efficient. :)

Well technically i use an assassin blade. which might have required a combat knife to be converted into a vibroknife first... but i don't remember exactly... I'd have to find the knife and backtrack how i made them, if the vibroknife is better i'll make one (i certainly have plenty of materials)

Nah, the vibroknife isn't "involved" in making any other items -- like Cloudstone, Firestone, Auto-Turrets etc. you get its recipe after completing one of the Aetherkin temples (one of those which you have to locate on your own, as there's no map marker until you enter its square). It's very inexpensive to build considering how deadly it is; IIRC only Impact Rotary Cannons provide a better damage output.
So having bested two further temples, I find myself questioning something. Am I missing something, or did I forget the tablet to find out how to craft Firestone tier items?

Fun... Yeah i glanced through my list, i don't have the recipe for it... And there's no markers for me to know if i didn't finish one of the temples for one reason or another... And the ones you find on your own are numbered rather than named, making them more difficult to know which you completed and didn't. Lots of annoying bits. I actually went through and flew through every sector, yet somehow i think i still have missed one or two temples... The one specifically for the Vibro knife it seems...

edit: Went through the temple which was already on my map (but not marked done or anything). I like the Vibro-blade, animals take 780 damage, and nothing material-wise except diamonds and adamantium takes more than one hit...

Seeing as the temples self-destruct in most cases anyway, a red 'X' marker might be useful for the ones where you've triggered their end. Event flags are clearly already triggered so it wouldn't be too hard to add something else.
