The issue is created by the fact that for the extra keys of Wasteland 2 for both Wasteland 2 and Torment pledge, they gave a Normal edition key. Normal edition is just the plain game, no extra. On both GOG and Steam they sell Classic and Deluxe edition, no Normal edition.
It is possible to upgrade to deluxe edition from the normal one, but you'll lack the classic edition extras.

To me the normal edition caused too much confusion. It would have been better to give the classic edition instead and avoid further problem. I don't understand why they did that.

I agree completely.
I'm not a KS backer but I just noticed something interesting that has not been mentioned in this thread.

I bought the digital classic edition from GOG and have the manual, reference sheet, map, soundtrack, artbook and wallpapers. The curious thing is that the gogdownloader link for these items says the manual, reference sheet and map is "wasteland_2_kickstarter" while the soundtrack, artbook and wallpapers are "wasteland_2_digital_classic_edition_upgrade".
Well, two more days and they still haven't replied to my message....has anyone else had this problem fixed?
I got a reply from inXile saying that they are discussing with GOG about this and that it should be fixed soon. For the record, anyone that upgrade to deluxe should have the full content.

I got the same answer as you yesterday. I questioned them about that too., because if we paid for a upgrade to the deluxe edition, it would be fair to get the deluxe edition, i don't know what they need to discuss in our case. I just think if the upgrade is not to deluxe, they need to specify that as something like "novella upgrade", because was that what I got.

PS: my answer was from GOG, by the way.

Heh, and I still don't have the Classic Edition goodies (soundtrack etc), even though I've bought the Digital Deluxe edition upgrade, thus I should have all the extras that come with the Digital Deluxe (Classic and Deluxe edition specific content).

I've written to support - so far, to no avail, I'm still waiting for any kind of a reply (save for the automatic kind, which I've received). :/

Have either of you guys had this situation fixed yet? GOG is still ignoring my message to support.

Just a word of advice when contacting support, GOG states that their priority for support messages is to solve anything that involves purchase problems first, therefore with this instance to get top priority support choose "Orders, payments, and downloading games" then choose for problem type "successful payment not processed (game not added to account)."

In my past experiences with GOG support, choosing the "Other issues" category does not issue anything reasonably close to a quick turnaround. When choosing something about your order not being correctly processed, I always hear back from them within a day.

No.
InXile said to me that they already gave GOG the all green to modify the upgrade package to give all the content expected. They are waiting a response too.

I probably accurate to guess that different category are immediatly redirected to different people specialized in that kind of issue while the other issue category will probably be put on old.
To me category are not well made, so much issues are left to the other issue category because there's not a category for them.

Nope. Nothing until now. With the first message they replied within 2 days. Then I respond the message questioning about if we will need to buy another upgrade to get the classic bonus, also saying that would not be fair. No answer until now, and thats more than 3 days.
Classic Edition on Steam. Got it as a present so there was no input from me on which version to take. But I'd be going for classic as well. I've no interest in The Bard's Tale.

Thanks for the tip, I just sent a second message to them following your tips, hope this works! :)
the inxile wasteland 2 FAQ says this regarding the different Wasteland 2 releases.

=====
What version of the game do I have?
Backers received one of three versions of the game depending on tier:

? Standard ($15 to $29 backers): contains just the game.
? Classic ($30 to $49): contains Wasteland 2, Wasteland 1: The Original Classic, and Wasteland 2 Original Soundtrack.
? Digital Deluxe ($50 and above): Wasteland 2, Wasteland 1: The Original Classic, The Bard's Tale, Wasteland 2 Original Soundtrack, Wasteland 2 Concept Art Book, Wasteland 2 Digital Cloth Map, Wasteland 2 Novellas (All Bad Things, Ghost Book One and Two), Wasteland 2 Novella by Chris Avellone (coming soon).

If you pledged at a Kickstarter or PayPal tier that contains extra copies of the game (i.e. $30 and above), note that those extra copies will all be Standard versions, but your main copy will be one of the above depending on tier.

====
People getting Wasteland 2 via inxiles Torment Kickstarter are probably getting the standard or classic Wasteland 2 package.
Yeah, but paying 15 euro for something that claims to upgrade your edition to Digital Deluxe, yet you only get the partial Deluxe package, something is truly not right there....

They are completely ignoring kickstarter backers, it's as if this DLC was aimed only at the buyers of the Classic edition...
