I just started another play in Wasteland2 again and noticed part 3 is on its way :D

How did it play out to pledge for a GOG-Key Directors Cut? Did you get the whole thing here or were there issues?
I saw KCD supporters only got Steam-Keys (don't have an account).

I may just be an early buyer at release like with part 2.

I backed Wasteland 3 on fig.co when the campaign was first launched. As I already had a copy of the second game, I only backed at the lowest tier. As such, I can't really confirm which version of Wasteland 2 you would get for backing at a higher tier. That said, I don't see why you couldn't choose a GOG code.

On a semi-related note, for supporting them in the first 48 hours, I did get a free copy of STATIS. They initially only promised Steam keys for STASIS and UnderRail (the other freebie choice for early backers), but they did end up offering GOG keys to those who asked for them.

My suggestion would be to reach out to inXile on Twitter and ask them. They are usually really good about responding the same day. I actually had an entire conversation with them the other day regarding the Scorpitron mechs' appearance in the Ready Player One movie.

I obviously already have the Wasteland 2 Director's Cut. I think they should have included some other game. The other SWAG like Early Access on Steam is also not attractive.
For me it would really only be to support the game.

I'm thinking about getting this on GoG but my friends are getting it on steam would multiplayer still work between the versions?

Convince them to get it on GOG.com. If not, they lost your friendship forever.

So, is it soulless as the previous one? One reviewer mentioned that the level design is dumbed down and in W2 the levels looked like made in a hurry just to test their level design tools.

Do not buy on gog you wont even be able to install it right now. i've been waiting since launch as have others and they're having issues with people like me not being able to download the game. i would go steam

you cannot install through galaxy, but you can download the game as .exe

Actually you can install it, you can download the "offline backup installer" and then you're good to go. But yeah install directly through Galaxy seems bugged right now, but I'm sure they'll solve that as quick as possible
