himeraz: Fine its the "Setup version", doesnt change the current situation.

Riveir: The communicated installer version is bogus "setup version" either way it is dung so i agree with Himeraz. Not exactly sure what Sufyan is complaining about. There is one thing being communicated and another being given and in this case there would have been no way of knowing without actually attempting the download! The situation has nothing to do with PC gamers competence. I think someone needs to re-examine their thinking.
It is not just this one thing. I'm nuts, but I'm not that deluded.

Sufyan,

I agree there is much idiocy on the part of gamers these days. I have been gaming for thirty five years and am a bit frustrated by this particular situation which I will not attribute to user err. I suppose in my frustration I may have taken your comment personally, but only you can communicate the details of your frustration. I am a bit curious, but if its just going to create a flame war lets just drop it.

himeraz: There's quite a few places before, you can start California while they put the patch up.I highly doubt you will get to Hollywood before they do.
Thanks. I took the plunge and started into CA. Just getting ready to leave Santa Fe Springs. :)
Hello, sorry I don't get it: what is this patch of >1GB? Last time I checked the first patch was only slightly more than >100MB? Or I am confusing with something else?
I simply take issue with the decision to change the way they had it on the page in the midst of a patch because they should be smart enough to know that people are stupid enough to not realize that they simply renamed the old patch and would be like "huh?" hundreds of times wondering why it looked different but nothing new was happening. Not necessarily stupid, but not smart either.

This is the new patch size we're waiting for : sorrily, it's always the old one in the download page, just with wrong information...

JPR out!

Sufyan: I swear the computer illiteracy that is spreading across this forum is KILLING ME. GOG installer version != Game version. When I was just a young gamer, PC gamers knew wtf they were doing. Now it is "I double click and it is not working".
Right, it's our fault, because there is nothing stupid or confusing about the way GOG handled their patch labels.

Thank you! :)
Downloading 10,4GB linux "patch" right now. Yay! (I guess)
So now GoG shows "2.1 1.5GB" but it's actually identical to the first patch (and is really 113MB).

C'mon GoG...
Gog is down? No staff to fix this damn window patch...
We're following up with GOG to try and find out what's going on here, but their work day is long ended. Hopefully we can get to it first thing tomorrow.
gog_wasteland_2_1.2.0.6.tar.gz is "patch 2" linux version?

There was no notification.

Well 2 patchs, 2 errors...
