godzki: when this patch will be available on gog.com?
As soon as they make it live! We provided it to them yesterday evening and they should have it prepped.
I don't understand something :
1- On Steam, the patch size = 1.5Go
2- On GoG, the patch size = 106Mo

Where come from this difference ?

And finally, why the Mac/Linux patch is only next Monday ?

Isn't that how it usually goes? Win users are majority. I think I can handle waiting a couple of days, especially when I haven't encoutered any bugs and will happily continue playing. :)

Given the long update process, I'd say the gog patch opens packed data in the game directory, patches relevant files and repacks them. Whereas steam just let's you redownload the updated package.

Edit: Redacted. Patch is broken!

The same for me. I tried starting a new game several times. It crashes each time.
Same here. I have to Alt+F4 to get out of the loading screen (and the game).
the same for me.... !
Same here. Is this patch were tested before release?

Of course. It is working correctly on Steam, so it appears to be something amiss with GOG's version specifically. We will have to investigate what the problem is. Working on it now.

Maybe there is something wrong - Steam version leftovers... :-|

GOG.com claims that Wasteland 2 is DRM Free and doesn't require Internet connection nor activation. My first run with WL2 was today after patch no 1 was released. One of first things that happened it was Agnitum Outpost Firewall Pro 9.1 reporting/asking for permission for WL2.EXE to connect with some server over Internet. When character creation screen was displayed (no pre-made Rangers were visible) then WL2.EXE tried to download some data:

21:48:54 WL2.EXE OUT TCP 65.55.10.11 80 *Allow Outgoing TCP to HTTP for WL2.EXE 3588 3521495
[several records for over 10 MB of data in total]

At first I've tried to click anywhere but then WL2 immediately crashed. Second time I've waited (observing blinking light on my Cisco router) and then WL2 generated crash report.

Crash report is on Mega:
